The Blocks Editor turns a page into a stack of pieces you can drag, drop and restyle. No markup, and nothing to undo later — blocks are saved inside your normal page content.

Open the Blocks editor

Open any post or page and pick Blocks from the editor tabs at the top. Existing content is read in as blocks, so you can start from something you already wrote.

Add a block

Click the add button, or drag a block from the palette to the exact gap where it belongs. Twenty-three types are grouped so the right one is easy to find:

  • Text — headings, paragraphs, lists, quotes and callouts.
  • Media — images, image galleries, code snippets and embeds.
  • Layout — columns, dividers, buttons, cards and card grids.
  • Sections — hero banners, accordions, timelines, link lists, reusable sections and raw HTML.

Style it

Every block carries its own styling. Open the style panel to set spacing, typography, colour, borders, shadows, size and an entrance animation — no stylesheet, and no effect on the rest of the page.

Reuse what works

  • Copy a block and paste it into another page, even in another site.
  • Save a block as a template and drop it in whenever you need it.
  • Use a Reusable Section block to pull in a component, so one edit updates every page carrying it.

Columns that survive a phone

Column and card-grid blocks step down to fewer columns on small screens, so a three-column section does not shred itself on mobile.

Your pages stay portable. Blocks live in the same content as everything else, so you can switch back to the standard, Markdown or HTML editor at any time.
