Today we've released the Point theme, which combines simplicity and style. This theme integrates the enhancements seen in the Vantage theme, such as:

  • Tailwind + Shadcn-inspired components
  • Light / Dark mode
  • Combined theme CSS (instead of CSS split by template)

However, there are also new additions, such as automatic image "Gallery" mode (images are zoomed in when clicked) and fixes to how text elements are rendered. While these are cool things introduced for Point, we want folks enjoying the other themes to benefit as well. This leads us to our Theme mini-Roadmap for June:

Theme mini-Roadmap for June

  1. We will introduce 3 new themes to PRSS (Splash, Book, Hello)
  2. We will retrofit some of the improvements of Point theme to the existing themes (including the theme you are seeing now, "Landing")

The goal of retrofitting features to existing themes is both for user and developer experience reasons. We want users to work with themes that look and feel great, and also make them dev-friendly for those who decide to Fork them with the Theme Creator. This is another step in making PRSS a no-brainer for site creation.

If you are new to PRSS, welcome aboard! We want to make your experience even more awesome, so feel free to send your feedback through the app.
